Snagging

If you're buying a brand new flat or house, it is prudent to get a Snagging survey. A Snagging survey is specifically designed to outline issues in a newly developed property for the purpose of ensuring they are addressed prior to exchange and completion.

 

The survey itself is a checklist-like report which only advises on the internal and external (in houses only) condition of the property including ensuring electrical components such as lights work, the finish of the walls, ceilings, floors are up to scratch, or that there are no broken or loose elements amongst other things.
